Scott Thornton
Scott is the Founding Director of Results Physiotherapy. He has a keen interest in sporting injuries and has worked with various sporting teams for over 20 years.
Working at the clinic since 1998, Scott has expansive knowledge in Physiotherapy, working and leading our team of physiotherapists and managing the clinic.
Scott has a keen interest and vast experience in treating sporting injuries and has worked with various sporting teams for over 20 years.
Scott has gained experience working for the Queensland State of Origin team for ten years, Australian Schoolboys Rugby League for over 15 years, Wynnum Manly, Easts and Souths Rugby League in the Intrust Super Cup, Gold Coast Titans and as a consultant for the Queensland Academy of Sport in gymnastics, cycling, diving and rugby league.
Scott is a determined, committed and empathetic person who wants to relieve pain and see his patients live their lives to their full potential. He loves assisting people to be the best they can be at their chosen sport.
Scott enjoys his other career as a lawyer, playing poker and spending time with his family and their pet dog.

Michael a titled Sports Physiotherapist with a special interest in shoulders, having completed a Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Alverta in Canada, the focus of which was the shoulder.
Over the past 15 years, she has specialised in Women’s Health Physiotherapy within both the public sector (Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital) and the private sector (Results Physiotherapy, Chandler).
Michael finished his Bachelors of Applied Science (Exercise Science) at the University of Queensland in 2003 and obtained his formal accreditation as an exercise physiologist (AEP) from ESSA over the following year.
David has completed a Diploma in Remedial Massage. During his time working at Results, he has worked with a vast variety of people ranging from individuals to professional athletes and teams.
Aiden graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2017 from Australian Catholic University with the Executive Dean’s Commendation of Academic Excellence.
Lyndon Evans graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University and now has over 5 years of experience.
Angus Carden graduated in 2020, takes real pride in empowering people to make positive health choices.
Graduated from the University of Queensland and working in Private Practice with a multitude of athletes and athletic sporting teams.
Michaela has a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology and is passionate about providing a safe environment for clients as well as providing accurate care catered to all individual needs.
